TRAINING FUNDING

FUNDING SOLUTIONS AVAILABLE FOR EVERY PROFILES

Professional training funding can be a complex landscape — eligibility conditions vary depending on employment status and sector of activity. TERREOM's Qualiopi certification opens access to the full range of public and pooled funding schemes — for farmers, employees, agronomic advisors, and business owners alike.

Qualiopi Certification: Your Funding Guarantee

TERREOM holds Qualiopi certification in the category "Training Courses" (Actions de formation). This national quality certification guarantees the integrity of our pedagogical processes and is a prerequisite for accessing public and pooled funding. Without it, no Competence Operator (OPCO) or training fund can cover tuition costs.

All TERREOM programmes — agroecology, soil fertility, soil analysis, plant nutrition, cover crops — are eligible for funding through OPCOs, VIVEA, and OCAPIAT.

Regardless of your professional status, the funding process follows the same four-stage principle :

1

2

3

Contact your funding body (VIVEA or the relevant OPCO) to confirm your eligibility before registering.

Application file

TERREOM provides a formal quotation; you submit your funding request to your OPCO or fund.

Confirm your enrolment

Sign the training agreement, enrolment form, and quotation. Submit the security deposit.

4

Payment by the funding body

The funding body settles the tuition fees on the basis of signed attendance records.

BEFORE TRAINING

01

Provide your personal details at registration

When registering, simply provide your surname, first name, home address, and date of birth. These details are required for the VIVEA eligibility check.

02

Eligibility verification

TERREOM enters your details directly into the VIVEA platform, updated regularly with the MSA (French agricultural social insurance fund). We will promptly inform you whether your training fees are covered.

03

Full confirmation of your enrolment

We send you the training agreement, enrolment form, and quotation to sign. A security deposit of €245 (not cashed) is required via swikly.com to reduce unexcused absences. You must also confirm your VIVEA consent within 30 days of enrolment via the email sent directly by VIVEA.

AFTER TRAINING

04

Payment processed by VIVEA

TERREOM submits attendance records to the VIVEA system. Payment is made by VIVEA based on your actual participation, confirmed by your signature at the start of each half-day session. You will simultaneously receive the invoice showing any remaining balance.

WHO IS ELIGIBLE FOR VIVEA FUNDING?

Les chefs d'exploitation agricoles sont éligibles à VIVEA

Farm operator

Les conjoint(e)s collaborateurs collaboratrices sont éligibles à VIVEA

Collaborating spouse

Les cotisants solidaire sont éligibles à VIVEA

Solidarity contributor with effective professional activity

Les aides familiaux sont éligibles à VIVEA

Family helper

Les personnes en cours d'installation sont éligibles à VIVEA

Person in the process of setting up a farm (with CEPPP certificate)

WHAT ARE THE 3 ELIGIBILITY CONDITIONS?

01

Being in active employment

Except under the training leave scheme (congé formation), VIVEA members lose their entitlement to continuing professional training funding as soon as they cease to hold a status listed in the second condition below.

02

Eligibility verification with VIVEA

Being a self-employed farm or agricultural business operator, a collaborating spouse, a solidarity contributor (cotisant solidaire) with effective professional activity, or a family helper (aide familial) — all falling under the French agricultural social security scheme — in one of the following sectors:

  • Farms and agricultural businesses

  • Forestry works companies

  • Agricultural works companies

  • Equine sector businesses

VIVEA may also fund training for jobseekers or individuals creating or taking over a business, provided they are not already covered by another continuing professional training funding body.

Individuals in the process of setting up a farm must hold a VIVEA funding eligibility certificate. This certificate may be issued to them by the Personalised Professionalisation Plan Development Centre (Centre d'Élaboration du Plan de Professionnalisation Personnalisé — CEPPP) of their département, following the development of their personalised professionalisation plan.

03

Being up to date with training contributions

VIVEA members may benefit from the training funding scheme only if their contributions are fully paid up.
Individuals on an agreed contribution payment schedule are considered to be "up to date" and are therefore eligible for funding.

Eligibility is assessed on the basis of the previous year (n-1) for training undertaken in year n.

ELIGIBILITY VERIFICATION PROCEDURES

The MSA (Mutualité Sociale Agricole — French agricultural social insurance fund; CGSS in France's overseas departments) transmits a monthly contributor file to VIVEA. This procedure enables VIVEA to monitor the payment status of its members: only a contributor who is up to date with their contributions for year n-1 is eligible to have their training costs covered by VIVEA.

Any contributor who is up to date with their MSA contributions may download the secure certificate of "good standing with respect to the VIVEA vocational training insurance fund" (attestation de régularité de situation au regard du fonds d'assurance formation VIVEA) directly from their personal MSA online account.
